Microsoft Designer – free creative tool for your own AI experiments

20 January 2024 | Article

To start creating AI-generated images completely free of charge, you can use the Microsoft Designer program. Just google it and you can download it from the Microsoft Store. However, you can also just use the program online through its official website.

Recently, there also exists a free app version for this fine tool, full of AI tools.MD 01 - Aitopic.nl

The first part of this tool introduces you to using text (also called text prompt or prompt) to generate images in a really simple way

By and large, then, this is the method by which virtually all of the 3,000-plus images on this weblog were created. By the way, I use other software for that, which offers all kinds of additional setting options. I also often choose the AI models Stable Diffusion or MidJourney instead of Dall-E.

Below you can see a series with Dall-E women’s portraits that I generated within minutes using Microsoft Designer. The text (prompt or text prompt) I used for this is somewhat more complex and relies on my idea or imagination of what I want to achieve with my AI images….

As you add more details to the entered text, the images become more engaging, more exciting. Note: it can be addictive to be creative via AI, even with Microsoft Designer!

Have fun and relax – with the works below or with your own experiments!
