As the creative brain behind aitopic.nl, I almost always use a digital notebook (AudioPen<\/em>) for my ideas, ranging from abstract concepts to detailed visions.<\/p>\n

Once an idea really keeps me busy, I know it’s time to make it a reality with the help of an AI art generator.<\/p>\n

The serie Cyber twins<\/em> accompanying this blog post is an example of this. It has given me so many exciting results in just over a week that I am dividing them into two posts for logistical reasons.<\/p>\n

A good start is half the battle. I spend a lot of time formulating the perfect text prompt. This short text is, as it were, the DNA of the future work of art; it contains all the essential information the AI generator needs to realize my vision.<\/p>\n

For example, for these series I first got the idea of developing a cyborg (from the English cybernetic organism<\/em>) – the physical fusion of man and machine.<\/em> I wanted to emphasize realizing a series of cyborg women \u2014 and that’s how the first collection was created that quickly ended up in the trash: too many white women.<\/p>\n

The idea for a mixed company was born and text prompts adapted.<\/p>\n

The final idea built on this and for each work created I came up with a different variant \u2013 and so the idea of cyborg twins was realized. Eventually, the title became Cyber twins<\/em>.<\/p>\n

With the text prompt ready, I dive into the world of AI settings. I experiment with the number of iterations, styles, and dimensions.<\/p>\n

I often use a different seed to influence the chance factor. Or I use additional images as input to generate more complex works.<\/p>\n

Once the AI generator has done its job, it’s my turn to refine the artwork.<\/p>\n

I import the image into Adobe Photoshop and use tools like Curves, Levels, Contrast, Hue<\/em>, Saturation, etc. <\/em>to take the work to a professional level. When I’m looking for a unique effect, I reach for filters.<\/p>\n

There are now more than 1000 unique works to admire aitopic.nl . On Instagram, I have a growing portfolio. Each work is a result of the workflow described above of this extensive, iterative process, in which both technology and personal creativity come together.<\/p>\n
